Donate for our 60th Anniversary
We look back over the many changes this Church has lived through in the past 60 years. We wake up today in a well-used and loved building in need of tender loving care. Financially we have lived on a ‘make do and mend’ budget for many, of the recent years.
The Anniversary Appeal Fund is designed to gather funds to make us fit for purpose for the next 60, and hopefully, more years. If you visit us today you will find the work has already started. White paint adorns our walls, and the building is beginning to look as if it’s got a ‘new coat. The very important Remembrance Garden is being repaired and planted. Flowers are important in our Garden plan.
This work is being done by paid tradespeople and volunteers. It is funded by loans and donations of the parishioners.
Every piece of work we start breeds another. There is much to be done in this building. We have launched our 60th Anniversary Appeal for this purpose.
Our ambition this year is to raise the first 50,000 euros towards the ongoing, inside and outside practical and replacement projects.
The 60th Anniversary appeal lasts from September 2026 – October 2027.
As we uncover more and more work to be done, we will be applying for grants. The latest one in the pipeline is for LED lighting.
