During Lent our Locum Rev Tony Bell will be producing an additional weekly video as a Lent study. The presentations will go live at 4pm each Wednesday until Easter. There is a Said Eucharist each Wednesday at 12.30pm. Lent discipline is not only about giving something up. Instead it could be about doing something of faith in addition. Just for those who give up chocolate (or smoking or whatever), the cost of what is given up is to be given to charity or God´s work in some way. Here is the live link for today at 4pm

Rev Tony Bell our locum at St Phillip and St James has once again recorded a short Act of Worship which will be on line from 11.45 am today. We are very grateful for the time and energy Tony is putting into these recordings which enable our congregation members who are unable to join our worship in church at present to feel less isolated.
Due to the restrictions now put upon church attendance (30%) we are introducing a second Sunday service. For this week, 25th October, we are having one service at 9.30 am and another at 11.00 am.
From next week the timings will change. Please check our Facebook site for further information but I will also send out another email to you.
Kindly note that I still need to be advised if you wish to attend either service so that numbers can be recorded correctly. May I point out that tomorrow’s 11 am service is expected to be full, so if you can manage the 9.30 am service we would appreciate it very much. The clocks change tonight so you will have an extra hour’s rest.
In the meantime keep safe and God Bless.
Judy Gortway
Church Secretary

If you would still like to make a donation of either non perishable goods or money these can be left at the church before the service or on Monday or Wednesday morning between 9 am and 1 pm when the office is open.

Central European Summer Time) on Sunday, 17 May, the Eucharist for the sixth Sunday of Easter will be celebrated at Santa Margarita. While the church remains closed as the result of precautionary measures relating to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), only two people will be present, the priest (Paul) and the assistant (Kate).
This Sunday, we are pleased to be able to host a ‘virtual visit’ by our new Archdeacon, Revd. David Waller.
You are invited to share in this worship by following the words (congregational parts in bold), sharing the hymns and prayers, and listening to the sermon. The presentation works as a video file, so you may control it (forward, back, pause) using the video controls. The service lasts about 47 minutes.
