Calendar for St Andrew’s  September  2019

SEPTEMBER

Mon to Fri church open 9.30-12 pop along if you’d like a chat with Fr Simon, (until the end of October).

Friday 13th Stations of The Cross Service 12:00 to 12:30.

Sunday  15th  Sung Eucharist at 10am.

Chaplaincy Lunch 1pm at Canymel, Inca

Monday 16th FUN NIGHT and LIGHT SUPPER 7:30pm €8

Wednesday 18th  Said Eucharist at 12:30pm

Fellowship and Bible Study 7:30pm to 9:00pm

At the moment we are concentrating on the 3-4 readings from the lectionary for the coming week, using various bible translations to be able to discuss their differences.

 We sing or listen to worship songs, and say prayers that have been inspired by these passages.

We finish by praying for the priest giving and the congregation listening to the sermon the coming Sunday.

The following week we start with a discussion as to whether any of our points raised were in the Sunday sermon or whether something else came up that we hadn’t thought of..

Wednesday 25th  Said Eucharist at 12:30pm

Friday 27th TABLETOP SALE 10:30am to 2:00pm

Saturday 28th September 2-6pm – Vision Day Lead by Father David to discuss ‘The Way Forward’ for St.Andrew’s Church

Sunday 29th  Sung Eucharist at 10am.

 

OCTOBER

Thursday 3rd SOCIAL NIGHT AT THE SPARROW &pm for 7:30pm

Monday 7th QUIZ with LIGHT SUPPER 7:30pm €8

Monday 21st  FUN NIGHT with LIGHT SUPPER 7:30pm €8

Friday 25th AUTUMN FAIR AND RAFFLE DRAW 10:30am to 2pm

NOVEMBER

6th – 8th Lluc Retreat ‘Listening to God’ lead by Elaine Laboural ex Warden of Readers for the Diocese of Europe. More details to follow.
