The Anglican Congregation of St Andrew’s at Puerto Pollensa has been active for many years. Originally it met in the Roman Catholic church in the main square for which we paid a nominal fee, however in 2013 we moved premises; into what was a former shop unit. This was a very exciting time for this part of the Chaplaincy in Mallorca. It took some time to get used to worshiping in the less ‘church like’ building but we moved forward in the knowledge that ‘the church’ is the people of God and not the building in which they meet. It gave us control over the timing of our services and also gave us the ability to run our own events, as and when we wanted. Now in 2022 we are into the seventh year of a 15 year lease. The move did incur a monthly rental charge of 1.200€, plus utilities – a big increase on the nominal contribution we made to the Roman Catholic church. We continue to pray that God will supply all of our needs – including rental costs. We are very grateful to all of our friends near and far, who continue to support our vision both financially and in prayer.
St Andrew’s is situated on Carrer de Mestral No 4, Puerto Pollensa 07470. Following the main road coming out of the Port, which heads towards Pollenca, you will see Burger King on your right. We are situated round the corner/behind Burger King.
We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday mornings for worship at 11am and please join with us afterwards for refreshments.
Most weeks we meet in the church on Tuesday evenings at 7pm for a time of praise, worship, prayer and/or bible study.
The current Chaplain in St Andrew’s is the Rev’d. Bill Boyce
