The Anglican Congregation of St Andrew’s at Puerto Pollenca has been active for many years, however, a couple of years ago we moved into our our own multi-purpose premises. This was and is a very exciting time for this part of the Chaplaincy, as we love meeting in our fabulous new place of worship. 2018 will see us entering a fourth year into a 15 year lease and we pay €1,200 a month rent (property in this part of Mallorca is not cheap!), plus the usual utilities.
Our new Church Centre is at Calle Mestral No 4, Puerto Pollenca 07470. Following the main road coming out of the Port, walk past the Eroski City Supermarket and first turning right – we’re on the right hand side, a few doors down. Parking is in surrounding streets.
We look forward to welcoming you on Sundays for the Sung Eucharist at the new time of 10.00am – refreshments are served afterwards.
On Thursdays there is a Said Eucharist at 12.30pm – which offers a more quiet and reflective opportunity to worship. We often go to a local bar for coffee afterwards or for a Menu del Dia lunch, which offers good value and chance to chat.
During the week the Church Centre is in regular use for wider community events, such as our ‘TGIW’ coffee mornings from 11am – 2pm. When homemade cakes are served and also soup lunches are available. An ideal stopping off point, after shopping at the excellent market in the Square!
